Meditation and Mindfulness Series: Connecting with your body

An embodied practice not only connects us with the present moment, but also helps with building bodily awareness. There are many embodied meditation techniques. These include Body Scan, Attentive Breathing and Connecting with the Senses. We will offer a brief overview of these and the benefits of living a more embodied life in general. Followed by a meditation combining some of these techniques so we can discover which ones we most connect with.

Understanding and Responding to Mental Threats
