Wellbeing Events Online During Recharge Week

The first Recharge Week of 2022 starts today, Monday 21 March. During this week, as you reduce your meetings and emails, you might find time to fit in some activities to take care of your wellbeing.

We have two webinars and two online exercise classes for you to try - starting today! 

Monday 21 March - Desk-Based Stretching

These classes are hugely popular and so we keep bringing them back. In this class, you will learn a series of simple stretches that you can perform at your desk, no equipment necessary.

This class will break up the routine of sitting in the same position for hours on end and help to stretch your aching muscles and move your joints. No experience or equipment is required.

Tuesday 22 March - Benestar Webinar - Managing Pressure

Join Benestar for a webinar on Managing Pressure. 

Managing Pressure will help you to:

  • Understand the link between pressure and stress and recognise stress symptoms
  • Examine some physical and psychological techniques to effectively manage pressure
  • Learn the factors required to achieve peak performance

Thursday 24 March - Pilates - Core Strength and Stability

Pilates is an exercise style with a focus on flexibility, muscular endurance and good postural alignment. This moderate-intensity class will help build core strength through a series of exercises and poses. You will require a yoga mat or a towel for this moderate intensity class. People who have a heart condition, injury, or any other medical condition which may place them at risk should only exercise under medical supervision, or with prior clearance from a medical professional.
