Chair Yoga in October

Chair Yoga is a practice that is accessible anytime, with the assistance of your chair and the floor to find reprieve from life, release tension and provide an antidote to sitting. Your teacher will cue stillness in motion, some long holds, relaxation and soothing breathwork techniques to encourage relief and calm for the body and mind. 

For every and any body, this style of yoga will reduce your stress and improve your wellbeing.

When?

  • Thursday 10 October at 12:30pm
  • Thursday 17 October at 12:30pm
  • Thursday 24 October at 12:30pm
  • Thursday 31 October at 12:30pm

All classes run for 45 minutes.

Courtside Studio, UNSW Fitness and Aquatic Centre 

Who?

These chair yoga classes are free for UNSW staff members. Please bring your staff card to show reception.

How to Make the Most of It

  • Bring some water
  • Wear comfy/stretchy clothes
  • If you have your own yoga mat please bring it with you
  • Come with an open mind and ready to take a moment to breathe and release tension and feel invigorated.
